Such technology has seen a rapid increase in deployment during the COVID-19 lock-down as people stayed home and communicated through digital devices and social media, consuming digital content at an ever-increasing rate.Now, a London based startup is introducing the next generation in human to machine interface using gesture-control. SERG Technology has developed a device that reads neuromuscular activity and translates it to digital signals that can be used to control any smart devices, from a smartphone to a TV and a PC. In essence, the user can interact with technology by just thinking of it.
SERG Technologies, a London based startup, is among an increasing number of technology companies that is employing engineering talent in Greece.
SERG has secured a £50,000 grant from a highly competitive Innovate UK call. The money has been awarded to support development of their telemedicine system for Parkinson’s patients during the COVID-19 crisis.
